Carnival of Vrnjci

Carnival of Vrnjci is one of the most significant manifestation that take place in Vrnjačka Banja during the summer and represents the crowning event of the tourist season. During the seven days of the carnival, Vrnjačka Banja is the scene where a large number of masquerade balls, concerts, theater performances, exhibitions and sports events are held. At that time, numerous carnival groups from many countries of Europe and the world come here, to perform in a spectacular carnival procession and make this event even more magical and interesting. A special attraction for the little ones is the Children's Carnival Parade, where children have the opportunity to show their creativity and be part of a unique event. Year after year, this event gathers an increasing number of participants and visitors, both from our country and from all over the world.

Lovefest

Lovefest is the largest music festival in central Serbia that promotes music, art and urban youth culture. Attendees can enjoy various musical genres, with a special emphasis on the promotion of electronic music. The idea for holding this festival arose in 2006 as a response to the insufficient number of cultural events in central Serbia, with the aim of promoting live energy, quality music and good entertainment. The festival was created in 2007, and from the city party held that summer on the Bridge of Love, in just one year it grew into a music festival, and today it is the best regional festival. Good music, socializing and the rich content offered by this festival contribute to its growing year by year, the more and more content program attracts more and more visitors, and the festival itself is held on several music stages and has more than 40 performers. For many years now, Lovefest has gathered the biggest names of the electro scene, and in the past few years it has been included among the best European electronic music festivals.

Film script festival

The film script festival is one of the events with the longest tradition in Vrnjačka Banja. Through its existence, it has built a reputation as a renowned festival that gives a high-quality picture of the virtues and flaws of screenwriting in Yugoslav and later Serbian filmmaking. The forerunner of the film script festival was the expert forum "Yugoslavian feature film in action", when in 1974 the authors and protagonists talked about the ways in which script writing in the former Yugoslavia could be improved. Thus, in August 1977, the review "Yugoslavian feature film in action" (the first festival had such a name) grew into a festival manifestation, a forum into a symposium, prizes were introduced, bodies were formed and the Film Screenplay Festival was born. He quickly became a significant name in the world of film and the film industry because he firmly followed his own path and dealt exclusively with screenwriting, its importance and improvement. The festival has been in existence for more than 40 years, and has spawned some of the most iconic films, such as "Ljubavni život Budimira Trajkovića", "Ko to tamo peva", "Variola Vera", "Otac na službenom putu", "Crni bombarder", "Rane", "Nebeska udica", "Nečista krv" and many other popular films.

"Kiss me"

The bridge of love, the Vrnjački carriage, romantic paths and beautiful parks are places that many couples have visited so far, enjoying the unique charm of Vrnjačka Banja. This makes it an ideal choice for celebrating Valentine's Day and, accordingly, in the spa on the Bridge of Love, traditionally, every fourteenth of February, a competition for the longest kiss called "Kiss Me" is held. In addition to the main prize for the longest kiss, prizes are awarded for the most attractive and oldest couple. The record for the longest kiss is 112 minutes, and the oldest couple was over 77 years old. Every year, the event is accompanied by an adequate entertainment program under the auspices of the Tourist Organization of Vrnjačka Banja.

Fair of flowers and old crafts

It is no coincidence that the flower festival is also held in Vrnjačka Banja, because it is famous for its flower roundels that occupy the central place in the park. The event, called the "Fair of Flowers and Old Crafts", is held four times a year and traditionally gathers dozens of exhibitors who offer a large selection of flowers, plants, seedlings, flower arrangements, horticulture equipment, as well as the most diverse types of craft products and souvenirs.

Concerts

Vrnjačka Banja earned the title of the queen of continental tourism, not only with its original quality, but also with persistent work on the constant improvement and development of the tourist offer. An important part of that offer is numerous musical events and concerts of various musical genres, from folk, entertainment, classical, rock, pop to electronic music. During the tourist season, especially in the summer months, many famous musicians performed in Vrnjačka Banja, and some of them are: Bonnie Tyler, Toto Cutugno, Vaya Con Dios, Zdravko Čolić, Ceca, Marija Šerifović, Sergej Ćetković, Željko Joksimović, Hari Mata Hari , Toni Cetinski, Željko Samardžić, Haris Džinović, Goca Tržan, Van Gogh, Riblja Chorba and many others. Concert events are extremely frequent, as well as various music festivals, the popularity of which allows Vrnjačka Banja to bring different and high-quality musical names to its stages. In addition to the already mentioned performers, Vrnjačka Banja not infrequently organizes classical music concerts, folklore shows, and there is also Lovefest, which emphasizes electronic music directed by the best DJs from the country and the region.
